Christmas Raffle – 2009
Christmas Raffle ticket envelopes have been distributed over the last week to all members, if you haven’t received your envelope please contact your Captain.
I have kept the ticket cost to 50p again this year in an attempt to make it easier for you all to sell all of your tickets – 50p is a very reasonable price to pay for the opportunity to win one of many fine prizes. The Club is about to embark on a major project to refurbish the Clubhouse and to do this we need to raise additional finances so every ticket will help towards this goal. And what makes the raffle different from other Club fund raising activities is that it need not be your cash that pays for the tickets yet you will ultimately benefit from the proceeds.
There will be the offer of a Chairman’s prize again for the top selling Club XI, providing the team sell at least all of the tickets originally allocated to them and any individual selling £50 worth will get a bottle – £100 means 2 bottles! The draw will take place at the Clubhouse on 12th December 2009 at the Hockey Club Christmas Party, I would be delighted to see you all there in support of your Club. If you would like extra books of tickets please give me a call. Please return the ticket stubs with proceeds to me at the Club or at the below address.
