Raffle – Update
Thanks to all of you who have already returned your ticket stubs and money, so far not too many excepting for the usual positive response from our VP’s. There are still 4 weeks in which to get the tickets sold and there are plenty more to sell if you need them but don’t just let them fester in your ‘to do’ pile, get them sold now and returned so they don’t get forgotten.
Just to remind you that the Club is about to embark on a major project to refurbish the Clubhouse and to do this we need to raise additional finances so every ticket sold will help towards this goal. And what makes the raffle different from other Club fund raising activities is that it need not be your cash that pays for the tickets yet you will ultimately benefit from the proceeds. And don’t forget the bottles for those selling more than £50 worth of tickets and the Chairman’s Team prize!
I am at the Club most Saturdays from 5.30pm onwards, if I’m not there to accept your ticket stubs and money personally please leave them in an envelope behind the bar or post them to my home address [37, Fairfield Avenue, Upminster, Essex, RM14 3AZ]. Please get selling now and do not leave this to the last moment.
