ESSEX HOCKEY JUNIOR SQUADS

Congratulations to all the Brentwood Hockey Club girls that were put forward for the Essex Junior Hockey Squads.
Despite the large number of girls trialling and the very high standard they were all selected for their respective age groups.

This is a real tribute to the hard work and outstanding coaching of Jeff Woollatt and Will Davey over the last few years. We now eagerly anticipate the boys trials in a few weeks time and hope they can match the girls success.

SEPTEMBER 2008

Now that our summer holidays are all but a distant memory its time to concentrate on important things. No, not school. HOCKEY!!!

Mini (U13) training starts on Sunday 9th September 10am-12pm as usual. We have a tremendous season awaiting us this year!

Lets hope that we can improve on an already outstanding performance in last years competition. Many thanks to Jeff Woollatt and daughter Sarah who have successfully applied to the Essex Childrens Fund and obtained a grant of £1020 for new goal keeping kit!

Hockey is all about fun, fitness, teamwork, making new friends and good competition. We have seen great improvements in all our players last season and hope to achieve more of our goals this year.

One last thing, the Essex County trials are coming up in September and Brentwood has entered a record number of players this year! This is all down to your hard work (and the coaches!), in achieving the levels of skill necessary to play hockey for your county.

It is policy to have to request this fee, in doing so you are able to use all our facilities at the Clubhouse.

JOINING THE CLUB TO PLAY, TRAIN, UMPIRE, COACH OR WATCH HOCKEY IS TAKEN AS ACCEPTANCE OF THE CLUBS INSURANCE POSITION AND THE CLUB TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INJURY INCURRED AS A RESULT.
