Umpiring Course
Level 1 Umpire Course
The next Level 1 course will be held on Sunday 10th October 2010 at Old Loughtonians Hockey Club.
Places are strictly limited to a maximum of 20.
The course typically lasts around four and a half hours with classroom themed presentation and interaction finishing with a written examination.
Those interested in attending need to notify Annette Thorpe, Essex Level 1 Co-Coordinator, via e-mail at Annette.thorpe1@btinternet.com of your intention to apply.
Then download the application form and send to her at Rascals, Wick Road , Langham, Colchester , CO4 5PF with a cheque for £50 payable to Essex Hockey Umpiring Association.
The cost of the course will be reimbursed by Brentwood Hockey Club upon completion.
This fee covers the cost of the course, appropriate collateral and an Essex Umpires Association shirt.
Closing date for candidate applications is 19th September, unless the course has been filled by an earlier date.
Applications after the 19th will not be accepted and applications which are not accompanied by the correct form or cheque will not be accepted.
