Ladies wanted
At this time of the year, many of us are looking for new activities to take up, and perhaps think about returning to sports and interests we enjoyed in the past.
While we encourage all new members, the Ladies section are looking to offer playing opportunities to ladies who want to return to hockey after a break.
Perhaps you know someone who is new the area, gave up playing when going to univeristy, to start a family, or any one of the many other ‘life gets in the way’ activities that may have interrupted their hockey playing.
Do you have a sister, daughter, mother, friend, work collegue who wants to return to hockey and needs a gentle push in the right direction? If so, we will be really pleased to hear from them and provide the opportunities for them to regain their hockey legs. They should contact Ali Twidale, Ladies’ Club Captain at alitwidale@ekit.com / 07956 941677 (mobile) or myself, or come down to training on a Tuesday at 7.30pm.
At Brentwood we always welcome new members, both ladies and men, and as a current member introducing them to the club could be quite benifical to you as you could receive a £20 rebate on your own subs for introducing a new player. You will receive the rebate on full subs once the current member and the new member have both paid their subs in full, and the only provision is that the new member is completely new to the club and not a returner.
