Short and sweet – we really need more umpires within our club. The Level 1 Course is easy, straight forward and extremely beneficial not just for umpiring but for playing and understanding the game.
Please give some thought to stepping forward for the next one on March 11th (details below) and helping out our club in one of the most rewarding ways through getting to know other teams in the club.
The club will re-imburse you the half the course fee once you’ve done the course, and the remainder once you’ve completed your practical and assessment games.
The course is a one day seminar with a written test paper at the end of the day.

Level 1 Umpire Course
The next Level 1 Course is scheduled for Sunday 11th March 2012 at Thurrock. This is a full day course which is all classroom based leading up to the Level 1 Umpire Accreditation. Start time is 9.00am registration for 9.30 start. Typical finish time is around 3.30-4.00pm. Anyone interested please contact Annette Thorpe at: annette.thorpe1@btinternet.com
Places are strictly limited. Cost is £50 which is payable in advance. This covers all exam collateral, rule books, Essex Umpire Association shirt and a years affiliation to EHUA.
