ALLIANCE MINI LEAGUE TOURNAMENT - SUNDAY 10th FEBRUARY
BRENTWOOD – BECKET KEYS ASTROTURF
On Sunday we have the next fixture in the Alliance Mini Hockey League for the 2012/2013 season. Please make every effort to attend and feel free to bring the whole family! There will be the usual BBQ serving burgers and hot dogs, as well as hot and cold drinks. Please could all U10s (year 5 and below) be at the pitch by 9:40am and all U12s (year 7 and below) be at the pitch by 11:10am.

Welcome to the 2012/2013 season!
I hope you have all enjoyed the hockey at the Olympics and are looking forward to the new season. For those new to the club, we have a thriving youth hockey section, so please come along and join in.
Ages at mini hockey range from 5 to 12, both boys and girls. Sessions run from 10am to 12pm each Sunday at the Astroturf at Becket Keys School (Sawyers Hall Lane, CM15 9DA). This year we are starting on Sunday 9th September 2012 going through to May 2013. All abilities are welcome. Older children will go into our academy who train on a Tuesday evening between 7pm and 8pm.
All children should bring the following: suitable sports clothing for the weather, trainers (or Astroturf shoes), shinpads and gumshield (if they have them) and a bottle of drink. We have a large selection of sticks for new starters to use, so it is not necessary to buy one immediately,
The emphasis at training is to make it an enjoyable experience for the children, so that they can have fun, get fit and make friends. They will at the same time be given instruction in all the basic skills required and the basics of team play and tactics. At Brentwood we offer:
• EHB accredited coaches
• Teams entered into the Alliance Mini Hockey League
• A pathway to representative hockey at Essex and East Regional levels (and beyond!)
Subscriptions this year are £60, which includes match fees and a shirt for new members.
We are once again entered into the Alliance Mini Hockey League. Dates are as follows:

* Sunday 10th March
* Finals Day: Sunday 24th March

REMINDER!
Academy training for all boys and girls aged between 13 and 16 takes place on Tuesdays at Sawyers Hall Astroturf from 7pm to 8pm.
Please come along and get improving, even if you already play for a senior team.
